Share of Cost, Stress-related protein speeds progression of Alzheimer’s disease

A stress-related protein genetically linked to depression, anxiety and other psychiatric disorders contributes to the acceleration of Alzheimer’s disease, a new study led by researchers at the University of South Florida has found. The study is published online in the Journal of Clinical Investigation.
