Dental insurance for seniors is important as seniors tend to have a greater need for dental care than any other age group.  Nearly 25% of seniors ages 65-74 have severe periodontal disease and seniors tend to put off their dental care needs due to cost.

That is why it is imperative that seniors have dental insurance in order to control the cost of their dental care needs.  An additional benefit, people with dental insurance tends to make and keep their dental appointments there by reducing their risks of having to have larger more costly dental care services.
